The Barbloon Partner guide
The app's screens, in the order your shop meets them.
Barbloon Partner is the shop's app on Barbloon: one app for the owner, the counter and every stylist. It rings when a customer asks for a turn, keeps walk-ins and online bookings in one line, and bills each visit. Get it on Google Play by searching for Barbloon Partner, and sign in with your own mobile number.
Get the appBarbloon Partner on Google Play

Signing in
Open the app and pick Partner (a shop, a parlour) or Stylist (your own profile). Type your mobile number, tap Send code, then type the code that comes by SMS and tap Sign in.
A number on no shop's team yet reads, under Partner, that Barbloon care sets up a new shop: tap Call care and they add your number. Under Stylist, the same number can tap Create my stylist profile: give your name and how you work, and you get a Stylist ID that shops invite you by.
Who sees what
The number you sign in with decides your role. A number on more than one team, or both the owner and a stylist at one shop, picks on Which shop today? and can switch later from the shop's name at the top.
- Owner and manager
- Home, the business at a glance (Up next, the day's numbers, Needs you, Due back), Ledger, Calendar, Customers and Team; the gear opens Account. A manager is a stylist the owner made Manager: their number signs in as the office, the counter's view of the whole shop, and their own lane stays on the Ledger.
- Senior and stylist
- Ledger, Calendar, Customers, Team and Profile; the gear opens Settings.
- A stylist with no shop yet
- Team and Profile, to find a shop.
A stylist's time off is a request the owner approves; a senior's applies at once.
The Ledger
The Ledger is your line right now, and the app opens on it: walk-ins and online bookings in one line. At the top, a tile for each stylist or chair shows the customer in the chair with Done, or Free with the next name and Next. With Large type on, or the phone's text set large, a phone drops the tiles: each chair's customer, with Done, and the next one, with Next, stand in the line itself.
Next seats the first person of that lane who can sit: a walk-in, or a booking the shop has accepted. Done ends the visit and opens the bill; with a second service to do, tap Next service first. A row's menu holds what it allows now: Here, Give to, Reach the customer, No-show, Cancel.
The bar reads Bookings on, Paused or Offline; a stylist's shows their name and whether they are in. Pause, at the foot, stops new online bookings while walk-ins still join; Resume opens them again.
A stylist's Ledger opens on their own lane, Waiting for you, then The pool · anyone: customers who asked for any stylist. When nobody is planned for them, their free tile offers Take next: it seats the first customer in the pool whose service they do. My lane widens to Whole shop, the other lanes Read only.
Every day
- A chair is free: tap Next on its tile, or on the row in large type.
- The customer is done: tap Done.
- Someone who booked is here: tap , then Here.

The Call
When a customer asks for a turn or an appointment, a card comes to the top of the Ledger on every phone of the shop, and the phone rings. It shows who is asking (First time here, or how often they came), the services and where they would sit. On a phone, the answers stand in the bottom bar.
Accept confirms the booking, and the customer is told. Push 15 tells them you need about fifteen more minutes; the request stays open. An appointment has Another time in its place. Can't take it asks for a reason; the customer reads it and sees other shops nearby.
The first answer from any phone wins, and the app never confirms on its own. A turn gives the shop three minutes: the word by the ring moves from New request to Owner alerted and Care told the customer, and at three minutes to Care is calling, as Barbloon care steps in. You can still answer then; a booking care confirms reads Confirmed by care.

Walk-ins
A customer who walks in joins the same line as those who booked online. Tap Walk-in at the foot of the Ledger, or under the on Home.
Name (optional) names the row, and From your list offers the shop's own customers as you type. Customer code takes the code from their Barbloon app (BC- and seven characters), typed or read with Scan, or the last four digits of their mobile if they booked or came here before. The visit then joins their history; no account is made.
Tick what they want under Services, or one of the Packages. Every field is optional: Add to the line alone puts them on the line with the shop's usual service. A stylist turns on Put them on my lane before Add to the line to keep the walk-in on their own lane; otherwise it goes to the pool.
Every day
- Tap Walk-in.
- Add a name, their code if they show it, and the services.
- Tap Add to the line.

Checkout and bills
Done opens the bill for the visit. On the bill lists what was done, with prices. Add brings in Services, Packages, Products or a Membership to sell. A Coupon code takes Apply; Use their membership gives a member their discount. Only the owner or the office adds a Discount on the bill.
Pick Paid by (Cash, UPI, Card or Other) and tap Finish and bill. The bill gets its number, and prices include GST. The customer pays you, as always: the bill records how.
Send on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp on your phone with the bill ready, when the shop has their number; Share the bill sends it through any app. Book their next visit opens a booking on their due day, and Save as a customer keeps a walk-in on your list. Bill later leaves the visit under To bill.
Every day
- Tap Done when the customer is finished.
- Check the lines, then pick Paid by.
- Tap Finish and bill, then Send on WhatsApp, or Share the bill when the shop has no number.

The Calendar
The Calendar is one day of the shop: a column for each stylist, in quarter-hour rows, with a line at the time now. Tap the date for another day, or use and . Next, under the bar, shows who to seat on each lane, with Start.
An appointment is a card at its time; an unanswered request counts down; blocked time is hatched, with its reason. A card offers Arrived, Start, Propose another time while its time is ahead, Cancel, and No-show from ten minutes late. A proposal moves nothing until the customer accepts.
Tap a stylist's picture for their day: In, Away for a while or Left for the day, and their time off. To book someone at the counter or by phone, use Appointment for a customer under the on Home, or Book their next visit on a bill. Barbloon sends that customer nothing: call them about any change.

Time off
Blocked time keeps a span of a stylist's day free of new bookings. An appointment already inside stays, shown as a clash: the owner offers its customer another stylist or time, they choose on their phone, and it moves only if they accept. If they say no, or do not answer in time, the booking ends and they are shown other shops nearby.
A stylist asks first: on the Calendar, tap your own picture, then Ask for time off. Pick the day, From and To, a reason (Break, Out, Training or Other) and A line for the owner (optional), then Request. Nothing is held until the owner approves; Withdraw request takes it back.
The owner sees it under Needs you on Home and as Requested on the Calendar. Approve blocks the time and lists the customers inside with their best offer: Offer this, Offer all, or Can't take it where nothing is free. Decline asks for a line to the stylist. The owner and a manager block at once with Add blocked time on a stylist's picture. A senior taps Ask for time off on their own picture too, and their block applies at once.

Customers
Customers is the shop's own book: everyone who booked or came here, and anyone you add. Nobody else's customers appear, and numbers stay private. Search by name, or change the order near the search: Recent, Due back, Most visits, Name, or Spend (not on a stylist's list).
Due back shows who should come back about now. A row opens the customer's sheet: visits and spend, Next due, your Notes (only this shop sees them), their plan, Last time, Earlier visits, and Book their next visit.
New customer adds someone by name, with a number if you like; the owner and a manager can also Import from contacts under , and nobody is messaged. A stylist sees My customers: the people they served, their lane's bookings and those they added.

Team
For the owner and a manager, Team has five views across the top: Working now (who is in, busy or free, and their day so far), Everyone, Invitations, Hiring and Notices. A person's sheet shows their numbers, pay and payouts, and Serving settings: what they do, Own minutes and Working hours.
Invite brings in a stylist by their Stylist ID, typed or read with Scan, as Stylist, Senior or Manager; they accept in their app. Add staff by number adds someone with no stylist profile. New notice reaches every phone of the team; New hiring post goes on the board stylists read.
A stylist's Team is My shops: their shops, Find a shop and Ask to join, their invitations, the hiring board with Apply, and the notices. Open to work lets other shops find and invite them; their own shops never see it.

Your profile
Profile is a stylist's own page. Under your name stands your Stylist ID with its QR: a shop scans it to invite you, a customer to see your work. Copy and Show large help at the counter.
My work holds the looks customers shared from the Mirror. Then come your Works and Repeat customers at this shop for the period you pick from the menu (Today, This week, This month, This year), and your works of All time. Then your Pay as the shop set it, Hours this week and Time off asked, with Withdraw request. Barbloon pays nothing: your pay is the shop's.
With two shops, tap another under My shops to switch. Open to work is your switch for other shops' invitations. With no shop yet, you see your ID and Not at a shop yet.

Account
For the owner and a manager, the gear at the top right opens Account. Business holds Shop settings (hours, public phone, when customers are due back, who you serve, how long a late customer's chair waits, the closing slack), Notifications (what this phone is told) and the Guide.
Catalogue holds Staff with roles and pay, Services, Categories, Packages, Products with stock, Memberships, Coupons, and Offers and occasion services, which customers see in their app. The shop's name, address, chairs and code change only through Barbloon care.
More holds Share the booking page, Share the app, Feedback and Rate the app; under it come Language, Console (Large type, Sound, Ring), Barbloon care, Privacy policy and Account and data, then Sign out. The adds a walk-in, an appointment, a customer, contacts to import, a service, a product, an invitation, a notice or blocked time (not on a shop that runs on its chairs). A stylist's gear opens Settings: the same controls and My occasion services.

When the network drops
When the connection drops, the Ledger says Offline, shows the line as last loaded and offers Retry. Taps still work there: Accept, Push 15, Next, Done, Here and walk-ins are kept in order, counted on the band (One tap waiting to send), and sent when the network is back. One that no longer fits the line says so.
Everything else waits. The Calendar, Customers, Team and Profile keep what was loaded, and a change says “This needs a connection. Try again when the phone is back online.” A bill waits under To bill until you are back online.
Kept taps live only while the app is open: keep it open until the band goes.

Barbloon care
Barbloon care is the team behind the app. For anything about a booking, a bill or the app, open Barbloon care in Account (a stylist finds it in Settings): both care lines, each with Call, the email address, and the line “Hold a number to copy it.”
Care also steps in when a request goes unanswered (Care is calling), and a booking care confirms for you reads Confirmed by care. Care sets up a new shop and changes its name, address, chairs or code: call them.
For anything about a booking, a bill or the app, call Barbloon care.
